The purpose of our Education Ministry is to educate, equip, and empower individuals to understand the Word of God and apply biblical principles to their daily lives.

Iron Sharpens Iron exists to create a welcoming and Christ-centered environment where believers can gather to discuss, explore, and grow in their understanding of God’s Word.
Through open dialogue, shared insights, and prayerful study of Scripture, we seek to encourage one another, strengthen our faith, and apply biblical truth to everyday life.

Our goal is to cultivate meaningful Sunday roundtable discussions that promote biblical literacy, spiritual growth, and fellowship among participants. We strive to bring greater awareness and understanding of Scripture by examining the context, meaning, and practical application of biblical texts, while encouraging each person to contribute their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives for the edification of the group

Connect Class.

Taught by Gary & Elizabeth Bartz, this additional online class (usually 5-6 sessions) is required alongside the in-person Connect Class.

Connect Class starts promptly at 8:45am and meets in-person downstairs in the fellowship hall.

Our connect class is designed to be a starting point for those that would like to become an active member within MetroChurch or serve across our many ministries available.

We have multiple connect classes throughout the year, typically seasonal. If you’re interested in joining the next class, see Pastor Mark or Maria Quiles after service.
Taught by Pastor Mark Quiles, this class is designed to help you learn about the history of the Church, the vision, values, and qualities of MetroChurch, and how to steward your God-given gifts as an active member of our church community.
If you’re looking to become an active member of MetroChurch and serve within our church ministries, this class is required.
